I don’t want to jinx it, but Charlie has slept through SEVERAL nights in a row. The key, according to books, has been doing his bedtime routine in the nursery instead if transferring him when it’s time to go to sleep. Further, I just finished my therapy appointment THAT YOU FUNDED BECAUSE YOU’RE THE BEST, and after next week’s appointment THAT YOU ALSO FUNDED BECAUSE YOU’RE THE DOUBLE-BEST, I’m going to be switching from weekly to every-other-weekly. Further, they will be hour-long sessions instead of 45-minute-long sessions, which works out to give me a lower out-of-pocket amount. (Still not as low a rate as checking myself into an in-patient facility, but ain’t nobody got time for that. Also, I only need therapy once every two weeks, so maybe just make it more attractive for providers to be part of your network, all insurance companies ever.) All these delightful things mean that I’ll be paying like 1/3 of what I’ve been paying. Between that good news, my nighttime-sleeping baby, and my heartwarming Internet friends who overwhelm me with their goodwill, everything’s coming up Hipster Mother. Thank you all.
For your kindness, please enjoy yesterday morning’s picture of my well-rested toddler, shot from an angle wherein my house looks clean.
